Chair of JOY® brings emotional wellness into everyday spaces through three connected priorities:
Sponsors and donors help fund new Chair of JOY® locations in schools, hospitals, workplaces, faith communities, libraries, nonprofits, and neighborhoods. Each placement includes the chair experience, signage, brochures, registration, and connection to the growing national movement.
Every Chair of JOY® is supported by a local Chair Leader — a teacher, nurse, volunteer, neighbor, CEO, faith leader, or community champion who helps maintain the chair, restock brochures, and keep the experience alive week to week.
Through programs, events, storytelling, trainings, JQVOICES, Chair of JOY® Day, and impact collection, Chair of JOY® helps people practice emotional regulation, reflection, communication, and belonging in real life.
