Community Impact in Motion
Chair of JOY®, Inc. continues to build a prevention-first movement focused on emotional well-being, resilience, and human connection.
The work behind Chair of JOY® spans seven years of research, product development, and real-world delivery through JOYELY, the framework's originating organization. As demand for the Chair of JOY® experience grew, the work expanded into a dedicated nonprofit to bring the experience to schools, families, organizations, and communities nationwide.
Over time, the Chair of JOY® has shown up far beyond a single classroom or office. It has stood beneath the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, traveled through 22 U.S. tours, and taken its place at festivals, business mixers, hospitals, schools, equine therapy sessions, children's events, and executive workshops alike.
From a Deaf and Hard of Hearing symposium at Cerritos College to a middle school prom night, from hospital staff appreciation events to small business resource fairs, the experience has proven that it belongs everywhere people gather — regardless of setting, age, ability, background, or industry.

Since the Framework Began
Seven years ago, the framework behind Chair of JOY® began as a single yellow chair and a simple belief — that everyone deserves a place to pause. Since then, it has grown through JOYELY's seven years of research and real-world delivery into a nationwide movement carried forward by Chair of JOY®, Inc., reaching more than 40,000 lives across 22 U.S. tours and 50+ schools — with momentum accelerating in 2026 alone, on the way to 100,000 chairs nationwide.
